Challenge
As part of a large scale acquisition, all current members of the smaller fund were to be migrated across to the larger superfund. To facilitate a quick transition, the smaller fund requested their current platform vendor to prepare files to enable the migration.
Solution
A team of experts from InvestigateDQ was brought in to install the product. Rules developed were designed to detect any discrepancies in member data and financial information before the transfer so issues could be rectified.
Result
The data quality exceptions identified for each migration cycle were reviewed for detailed analysis. Issues which were identified and mitigated in advance of the Successor Fund Transfer (SFT) meant that there was no requirement for remediation of issues post migration.
